Basic Plan
Whatever your monthly electricity usage*, you can save by switching to Hinatao Energy.
* Compared to TEPCO’s Standard S/L plan, in principle the price will be lower regardless of the amount of electricity used. However, this may not apply to customers who receive the account transfer discount and use a small amount of electricity.

Zero CO2 Emission
*Tokyo Gas’s overall power source composition: LNG-fired: 79%, coal-fired: 4%, hydro: 1%, renewable energy (non-FIT, FIT): 3%, JEPX: 12%, other: 1%.
*Power sources with substantially zero CO2 emissionsare procured by Tokyo Gas through the use of non-fossil fuel energy certificates designated for renewable energy. Learn more here.
*The actual gas supplied under the Sustainable Plan is the same as under the Basic Plan and therefore is not emission-free.

General Eligibility
・Either you or your spouse can apply for the service. If your spouse applies, prior approval from the actual subscriber is required.
Depending on the details of your application and circumstances, it may take some time to complete the process. In some cases, we may not be able to accept your application.
Examples of applications that cannot be accepted
・If we are unable to confirm details necessary for the application.
・If you are switching from your current electric power company to Hinatao but it cannot be confirmed that your current power company has approved the termination of the contract.
・If you are currently subscribing to one of the plans listed below.
・If the capacity unit of the electricity to which you wish to subscribe to is “kW”.
TEPCO Energy Partner’s Metered Electricity A, On-demand Lighting A, B, C, Public Street Lighting A and B, On-demand Electricity, some of the old Optional Tariffs (Morning Value Plan, Yoru Toku Plan (Nighttime-specific), Half-Day Value Plan, Weekend Value Plan, Otokuna Night 8 and 10, Peak Shift Plan, Omatome Plan, Denka-Jouzu, Midnight Power
・If you are currently under contract with an electric power company and have a volume-based contract as indicated below.
A volume-based power contract is determined by the amount of electricity used in each half hour. The value obtained by doubling the largest monthly value of the amount of electricity used in a half hour period is called the maximum power demand. The contracted power is the larger of the maximum power demand for the month of January or the maximum power demand in the previous November.
