Whether you’re switching from an existing energy provider or starting service at a new home, we’ve made the signup process as quick and hassle-free as possible. Either way, you’ll get the same great benefits of Hinatao Energy.

No Construction Work
In most cases, there is no need for any new equipment to be installed. We’ll even take care of canceling the contract with your current service provider.

Choose a Plan
We offer two plans: Basic and Sustainable. The Basic Plan offers competitive electricity rates so you save money on your monthly energy bills.
* Our Sustainable Plan gives you the option of using substantially zero CO2 emissions electricity that offsets CO2 emissions through the use of non-fossil fuel energy certificates.
*Compared to TEPCO’s “Standard S/L” plan, the price will be lower at all levels of electricity usage in principle. However, this does not apply to customers who have already received a discount by switching and whose electricity usage is low.

Receive Confirmation Email
We’ll send you an email confirming that we’ve received your application for service. We’ll start reviewing it right away to make sure everything’s in order and you’re eligible.
Confirm Application Eligibility
This is where your application is processed. This usually takes one to two weeks to complete.
Review Approval
Congratulations! Your application has been approved. You’ll receive an email letting you know the service start date. There’s nothing else you need to do – we’ll take care of everything.
*Hinatao Energy will contact you by email to confirm if any information required for switching is missing.
Start Service
On the date given in the approval email, your energy supply will automatically switch to Hinatao Energy. You will not experience any interruption of service, and rest assured that you will receive the same high-quality service as before.

Enter Start Date and Time
Please register the date and time you want to start using electricity and gas at your new residence. Note that you will need to be present when the gas is turned on.

Start Service
You can start using Hinatao Energy electricity and gas from the day you move in (i.e. the day you registered in Step 3). You will need to be present when the gas is turned on, and you can start using the gas immediately.
